~President's Message~

Greetings Friends of Links,

Welcome to the website for the Triangle Park (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Since our chartering in 1984, our members have devoted their resources and energies to addressing needs in the global arena, while specifically targeting the communities we were established to serve...Durham, Wake, and Orange Counties.

It has been through friendship and service that the Triangle Park Chapter has sought to make a positive impact in our surrounding communities. Our projects have included services such as, Computer Giveaways, Organ Donation Awareness Programs, Books for Schools, Back Pack Program with the Food Bank of NC, Coats for Children, financial support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, mentoring, music and photography classes at the Nativity School, assistance to international schools in Africa, and many other projects too numerous to name. It is hoped that this website will serve your needs in learning more about The Links, Incorporated and the Triangle Park Chapter, as we embark upon our next 25 Years of Service, Friendship, and Philanthropy.

Yours in Service,
Link Ann J. Edmonds, President

The Links, Incorporated is an international volunteer civic organization of concerned, committed and talented women of African ancestry who seek to enhance the quality of life in our communities and the world. The organization is primarily dedicated to enriching and sustaining the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and persons of African descent. We achieve these goals by focusing on educational, health and economic needs. Our strategies include public information and education workshops, collaboration with other service organizations, and activities in the public policy arena.
